1ONUS (“we,” “our,” or “us”) take data privacy and security seriously. To maintain the trust of our users and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, we have established this Data Deletion Policy to outline how we handle the deletion of user data. Please read this policy carefully to understand the procedures and timelines for data deletion.
Account Deletion for Inactive Users:
We value the data you entrust to us, and we recognize that users may have different needs and preferences regarding their data. As part of our commitment to data privacy, we have implemented the following guidelines for the deletion of user accounts and associated data:
Inactive Accounts: User accounts that have been inactive for a period of 30 days or more may be subject to permanent deletion. Inactivity is defined as not logging into your 1ONUS account during this time.
Notification: Users with accounts meeting the inactivity criteria will receive a notification via email or in-app communication, informing them of the impending account deletion.
Grace Period: Upon receiving the notification, users have a 30-day grace period to log in to their accounts to prevent deletion.
Permanent Deletion: If a user does not log in within the 30-day grace period, their account and associated data will be permanently deleted from our system. This action is irreversible, and the data cannot be recovered.
Voluntary Data Deletion: We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and data voluntarily, you can do so through the 1ONUS profile settings (Profile tab > My Account > Delete Account) or by contacting our support team.
Data Retention for Active Users: For active users, we will retain your data as long as your account remains active and in compliance with our Terms of Service. If you choose to delete your account voluntarily, your data will be deleted in accordance with the procedure outlined in this policy.
Changes to this Policy: We may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. Updates will be posted on our website, and you will be notified of any material changes through email or in-app notifications.
